Spring 2012 Shoes

Hey everyone,

Spring is pretty much here and with that comes new shoe trends. Today is just a post on what i think are the spring shoes that are IN this season and shoes i think you need. I hope you like it!

#1- TOMS

I honestly can’t explain how much i adore TOMS! They are the comfiest shoes ever. TOMS have been huge by me and weather or not they are by you now, they are bound to be! They are a great investment shoe because they are super comfy, come in tons of colors or patterns, and are super versatile. Plus they last for ever! They can be a bit pricey but that is because when you buy a pair they send a pair to a child in Africa! How sweet :) And if you don’t want to pay that much there are a million knock-offs. And these shoes are great for spring because they are cooling, simple, and fun. You can even DIY yours.

#2- Rain boots

Along with spring comes rain. Rain can be a wonderful thing but at the same time can ruin your shoes! Or make your feet all wet :( Rain boots are great for those rainy days because they come in so many styles and are just so quick and easy! They can be hard to style but i think they look best with skinny jeans. If you are not as daring try buying a pair in a simple print like i did, such as polka dots. It makes them much more easier to style than say, whales, like above. Another thing is i have been seeing these a ton lately!

#3- Boat Shoes

Omg, im so in love with boat shoes! Almost as much as TOMS. Boat shoes are the best shoes for Spring, hands down. They are basically Sperrys, just a different version. I love the nautical look of them. They are great for you preppy people but flatter anyone. They can be worn with just about anything and always look nice. Again, i have seen these everywhere ;)

#4- Open toed flats

I’m a huge flats person but i really have been into open-toed flats for spring. They are just such a nice step up from regular flats and are perfect for showing off that pedicure! They are a timeless shoe and look great with anything. They are so simple but will give extra omph to your look.

#5- Wedges

I feel like wedges are known universally as the Spring shoe. They are just so cute, simple, and well spring-y. I love how they look and are a different look from heels. They make your look more spring appropriate and are so much easier to walk in than heels. Try one in a pastel shade for spring :) They are very casual as well.
